Denise Robitaille

Denise Robitaille is a member to US TAG to ISO/TC 176, the standards developers responsible for ISO 9000 family of standards. She has been an active participant in working groups dealing with ISO 9000, ISO 9004 and the Small Business Handbook for ISO 9001. She is chair of the ASQ Quality Management Division Technical Committee on Standards and Compliance. For almost 20 years, Denise has helped companies achieve ISO 9001 registration and derive benefit from their management systems. She is recognized internationally as a speaker and trainer, and has worked in numerous industries and government agencies. Denise is the author of ten books and 3 e-books, including ISO 9001:2008 for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses , 9 Keys to Successful Audits, The Corrective Action Handbook and  ISO 9004: The Key to Sustainable Success. (E-book). Denise’s latest book The (Almost) Painless ISO 9001:2015 Transition is due to be published by November 1, 2015.

 

  Gil Andrade

Gil Andrade began ABI to provide consulting assistance to his consultant colleagues and to his other business colleagues and friends who may need his assistance. He is an ASQ Fellow and the current Chair of the North East Quality Council (NEQC) of ASQ. He has been continually active in ASQ since 1979. He served as Chair of Merrimack Valley and Boston and was the founding Chair of Olde Colony Sections. At ASQ national level, Gil served as Chair of Customer-Supplier Division, as Regional Director–Region1 (1993 to 1999), as ASQ Treasurer (2000) and on numerous ASQ committees (Bylaws, Ethics, BOSCON, nominating, recertification, etc.). Gil’s professional experience that encompasses quality techniques, methods and systems, such as MIL-Q-9858A, MIL-I-45208A, MIL-STD-45662A, ISO 9000, ISO 13485 and ISO 17021, cGMP, G@AMP and 10 CFR Part 11, process control, problem solving, quality auditing (internal and external), concurrent and re-engineering, customer service and satisfaction, and supplier partnership. He has been implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems and teaching QMS development and auditing courses since 1991 for ASQ and for the companies where he worked. He specializes in coaching peers to effectively and efficiently perform new supplier evaluation, and he helped suppliers develop their process evaluation and improvement by using empirical data analysis and CAPA processes. In 1993, Gil joined the American Certification Corp., Inc. (ACC), a local ISO 9001 QMS registrar, as its President and CFO. He developed and has continually maintained ACC’s processes, accredited by RvA (Dutch accreditation body). Currently, Gil serves as ACC’s VP Certifications & CFO.

They assist clients in transition and conversion to ISO 9001 /ISO 27001 / AS 9100 / ISO 13485 / ISO14001 / ISO17025 / ISO 18001 and other standards,including Lean Manufacturing, “Design For 6 Sigma”, and New Product Introduction / Product Life Cycle Management. Jim is a seasoned, results-driven Senior Manager with an M.S. in Management and over 20 years experience in operations, business development, quality and productivity experience in multiple industries, including high technology manufacturing, consulting, aerospace and telecommunications. Recognized expert in international standards, tools, techniques, and processes. He is an IRCA certified lead auditor, with extensive experience in analyzing and correcting processes and internal and external operational issues resulting in extensive positive results to the organization. Jim is the current Chair of ASQ Boston Section.

The QPS Institute, possesses over 35 years of professional work experience in management and quality assignments, including consulting and training at Fortune 500 companies and trained thousands of people. Jay has taught on site to several public and private companies. Jay has instructed ASQ, PMI and APICS Certification Courses, including related Lean Six Sigma and related ISO. He has presented speeches and seminars to various organizations such as the Project Management Institute, American Production and Inventory Control Society, Institute of Industrial Engineers, American Society for Quality, and Society of Manufacturing Engineers. Jay holds 10 ASQ Certifications including Six Sigma Certified Black Belt and Certified Quality Auditor. He has Bachelor and Master Degrees in Engineering and MBA. He is an Exemplar Global Quality System Lead Auditor and Environmental Auditor. Jay holds PMI certifications. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®), a certified Risk Management Professional (RMP®) and a certified Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP®). Jay has served as Chapter President of the Project Management Institute and served as Chapter President of Institute of Industrial Engineers. He has held a number of positions at Section and Region levels within ASQ. Currently, Jay is the Conference Chair of ASQ NEQC (North East Quality Council). Jay has been the National Malcolm Baldrige Quality Award Examiner and is an ASQ Fellow. He has co-authored the Quality Council of Indiana’s Six Sigma Black Belt and Green Belt Primers, which are used for ASQ Certifications.

 

Barbara Butrym

Barbara Butrym is a quality professional with over 30 years of experience in manufacturing and service industries. Her expertise is primarily in the aerospace/defense, automotive and medical device industries as well as laboratories and telecommunication. Barbara is an ASQ Certified Quality Auditor, a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt/Lean Expert and RAB auditor. As principal of BQA, Barbara has successfully implemented ISO 9001, ISO 14001, AS9100, TS 16949, , TL 9001, and ISO 13485 systems ran and represented the US office for URS Registrar, and CMC International Training organization (a Ford UK preferred training contractor). She is a contract auditor for IMS World, a Quality system registrar and is certified by AIAG to audit to AS9100 rev C. She currently is working with Quality Productivity Solutions as a trainer/consultant.

Jack Reardon has over 30 years of experience in the quality and business improvement field specializing in automotive industry. Jack’s professional experience includes working in the manufacturing and service industries. He has provided training for Lean, Green Belt, Black Belt and Master Black Belt. Jack has successfully managed the quality systems and quality improvements of our clients. Jack has taught courses in Lean Six Sigma for Yellow Belts, Green Belts, Black Belts and Master Black Belt. Jack is ASQ Certified Black Belt. Jack is also certified Lean Expert, Master Black Belt and Design for Six Sigma Black Belt. Jack has been a member of American Society for Quality for the last 15 years. He has been an active in ASQ North East Quality Council.

 

 Prabhakar Jain

 Prabhakar Jain has more than 25 years of experience in the quality field, and has held wide- ranging positions including SPC Expert, Continuous Improvement Supervisor, and Black Belt at Wyman Gordon Company. He is a Certified Black Belt by Wyman Gordon Company. PJ has made breakthrough improvements using team concepts for cost reductions, quality improvement and customer satisfaction. He has also facilitated ISO certification process. He has worked as Lead Auditor in a number of assignments, including Wyman Gordon and Bose. PJ has trained personnel in the areas of Six Sigma and ASQ Certifications at Wyman Gordon and Bose. PJ has published papers and presented them at annual conferences. PJ is an American Society for Quality Certified Quality Manager, CQE, CRE, CQA, CSSBB, Certified Netware Engineer from Novell and Certified SPC Facilitator by the SPC Society. He is also a Certified Quality Systems Lead Auditor. PJ has a Bachelor degree in Science and a Masters in Total Quality.

Ed May is the New Jersey Director of Quality and Productivity Solutions. Ed received ASQ certifications as CSSBB, CMQ/OE, CQE and CQA. He earned his undergraduate degree cum laude at Stevens Institute of Technology and his MBA degree at Harvard Business School. Ed held management positions in engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance with various manufacturing companies before becoming a quality consultant, adjunct professor, and on- site instructor. He specializes in ISO, Lean, and Six Sigma which he has implemented at dozens of organizations. Ed is a Senior Member of ASQ. He serves on the Board of North Jersey Section 304, where he chairs the Scholarship Committee, and serves on the Education and Spring Quality Conference Committees.
